Proft endorses Cleveland for Chairman of the Chicago Republican Party

Dan Proft, talk show host on WLS-AM, endorsed 43rd Ward Committeeman Chris Cleveland for Chairman of the Chicago Republican Party today.

“I have known Chris for some time. He is a solid, thoughtful conservative committed to building the Republican brand in the City of Chicago. Conservatives specifically and the Illinois Republican Party more generally would be well served to have Chris Cleveland leading the charge for Republican Party principles and policies in Chicago. I am proud to support him to be the next Chairman of the Chicago GOP.”

Chris Cleveland, 49, is a long-time conservative activist, former congressional staffer and campaign manager, and a former member of the Republican State Central Committee. He currently serves on the board of the Federalist Society, Chicago Lawyers Chapter.

He owns Dieselpoint, Inc., a Chicago-based software company.

Cleveland recently won re-election to his position as 43rd Ward Committeeman with 70% of the vote.
